Famous Flamethrower’s High Altitude Chili Cook-off Weekend
The hottest event in Colorado the following summer? guaranteed. This is a totally free event in which chili chefs compete for your state title and also opportunity to represent a Rocky Mountain location in the World Chili Cook-off. Prizes are going to be awarded for best-costumed cooking, best red soup, best green chili and best salsa. And yes, examples will be available to lots of people after the judging starts.
The event is held at the base connected with Winter Park Destination where you can find a 700 mile hiking and mountain biking trail method that spreads through the entire beautiful Fraser Valley. Winter Area is also home from the longest Alpine Slide in Colorado! A 3000 foot long slide, with a 600 foot drop winding throughout the wilderness. Take a seat lift to the top with Winter Park Pile and you can find some sort of 18 hole disk golf course. At Ten,000 feet you will have some of the best views Littleton has to offer. Back at the bottom there is also a miniature green that takes you through Fraser Area history, a mountaineering wall, Rock No Roll Gyro, Human Maze, Leaps & Bounds Bungee far more more.
Proceeds of the event will benefit the nation’s Sports Center to your Disabled, which is one of the most important organizations available at Winter Park Vacation resort. It is also sponsored by just Coors and Coors Light.
